Thank you all for such lovely comments about the beautiful roses wet from the rain.
I too love those pictures.
Especially so because I seldom capture a rose that I am satisfied with.
Oh, before I forget,
They were taken on the spur of the moment while it was still sprinkling
in front of our hotel in Gainesville, FL.
A year ago when we traveled to New Orleans and Biloxi, MS and AL.
Gainesville was the last stop before home.
Due to the sprinkles and my camera all packed up, I almost missed all that beauty.
However, my hubby is the most patient of husbands,
Told me to go for it and patiently waited and fiddled with his ham radio in the car
trying to find a working station to communicate with!
I also promised to tell you of another blog where you will see the most lovely roses
frequently, as my friend Betsy and her hubby grow 53 different varieties at their home.
When they are not attending the garden, they are hiking and photographing
waterfalls and beautiful places around the USA.

Ahh cupid has a secret!
For the next week, I am taking a blogging break.
To treat myself to a special time.
Taking long walks more often,
using my camera more
reading and drinking tea from all the beautiful tea cups I collect
researching and trying out even more new recipes
sleeping late
candlelight baths
having more quiet times with the Lord
writing more in my journals
This is a celebration of reaching the first 1/3 of the way in my weight loss
as of last weekend.
I will return to blogging on Friday, February 10th
just in time for Valentine's Day.
While I will not be posting on my own blog until then don't be surprised
if I pop in to say hello now and then.
See you all on Feb 10th.
