Wildflowers and country roads

Hello Friend! Wildflowers and Country Roads is both a reality and a state of mind. I warmly invite you to join me on my journey. A journey of showcasing my vision: the beauty my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has bestowed on the world I love.
My hope is that my photography will bless your day in a beautiful way.

A Year of Gratitude - Nature's Lace

Good morning!
Brrrr we are having a cold front move in as I type.
Hubby and I are going to a amateur radio event tomorrow.
Morning temps should be low 40's!
Purple mitten time!!!
So of course I am ever so grateful to be able to wear my mittens once again.

A few weeks ago hubby and I were in one of our beautiful parks as the sun was going down.

To me the sun illuminated the moss hanging from the tree to make
it look like lace.

What do you think?

Am taking a weekend break until Monday.
Therefore, I am going to share my gratitude for Saturday and Sunday now.

I am grateful for kisses that turn into hugs and back into kisses.

Watching tv together in our cozy little home with our fireplace on the rare cold nights.

38 years ago tonight I had no idea my first child was going to be born on the 17th of Jan.
Long story, short: after 32 hours of labor, cord was wrapped around her neck and both
our lives were at stack, emergency C section
result was a beautiful healthy precious 8lb 15 oz daughter!
Oh thank you Lord for then, for every day since as a mom.

Spaghetti for supper that was so delicious
yes, thank you for messy cleanup because we had more than enough.

Right now I have socks on and my hands are actually cold as I type, hehe
(hubby has gone to bed, we set our heat lower at night)

Quilts!

Watching hubby devour a HUGE bag of popcorn he won last weekend in a drawing.

Oh Lord I am so blessed.

May your weekend be blessed too and I will be blogging again on Monday.

From my heart to yours, may your day be blessed. Lynn

Hi Lynn, your picture of the Spanish moss is so beautiful! We have a lot of it up in our area too. I never get tired of looking at it. It always seems so exotic! :) Hope you and Terry and fun at the radio event tomorrow. It is sure cold here too, in the mid 30's. It sounds like you had a wonderful evening last night. Peaceful, homey, cozy evenings with our loved ones are times to cherish! We had a little pizza party last night and several friends came over to the house with their children. It was so much fun getting to hold the babies and play with the kids. I would love to bottle up a little bit of their energy. My goodness, it is not as easy to keep up as it used to be! :) Have a lovely saturday and keep warm! Delisa :)

Hi Lynn, That picture is AWESOME... Frame it!!!!!

So--you are having some colder weather also...That's great. I know you will enjoy the fireplace...

Glad you and your baby were okay after that birth scare... So--she was born on the 17th. My middle son was born on the 15th of January in 1970.... It was a cold, winter night in Maryville, TN... Hubby was scared that we'd be snowed in when I went into labor... Luckily, no snow --and I made it to the hospital that night..

Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
