Today is Kevin's Day!
He is 6.
That magical wonderful age.
Oh, I so hope you can see those freckles.
They dance across his nose with excitement for everything!
Kevin shares my love of drama, but in the best way.
He finds so much joy in finding new ways of doing almost anything.
You see I am Grammie, I just sit back take the pictures and chuckle.
I don't have to discipline.
Oh yes, kind of hard to tell but he also has his daddy's big brown puppy dog eyes
I look at Kevin and have a secret chuckle, those eyes....
my daughter was done the moment she looked into Mike's brown eyes.
Like I said, I am Grammie, I just sit back and take the pictures and love him to pieces.

Grampa and Grammie wish you a big 6th birthday.

I just made this for Kevin this morning for his room, 8x10 size.
I am grateful for each unique personality of my 5 grands.
I am grateful that my daughters continue every day doing the delicate dance of full time mom
and full time careers.
I am grateful that my grandchildren are loving, caring children with dreams and goals
in the fertile soil of their parents unconditional love.
I am grateful we can help Kevin blow out his candles tonight.
May your day illuminate all the beauty the Lord sends your way.

Oh, he is just TOO TOO cute!!! He will really be breaking the girl's hearts! Tell him happy birthday for me! Six is a very cool age, the world is full of possibilities and you are just coming to know that. Yes, I see the freckles! Isn't it divine being a grandparent! All the fun and none of the work!
