A Year of Gratitude - Colorful morning

Are you a morning person?
I love early mornings, really I do.
Yet,
I am my most creative self between the hours of midnight and 4am.

You can see my challenge here, right?
When I worked I started at 7am and on the two days I had to be in the office,
I saw awesome sunrises on the way to work.
I would be in the car watching the sunrise, singing How Great Thou Art
and
at stop lights also signing the song!

So......

This morning the Lord showed me once again how beautiful the start of
a new day is be when one is awake to enjoy it.

Hoping your monitor does show the pink glow in the sky.
As I took out the trash, I looked up to see the Western sky blushing a lovely pink.
Sort of like a big warm hug from the Lord.

Looking at the soft sky reminded me of my beloved grandmother who used to say:
"Red sky at night, sailors delight
Red sky at morning, sailors take warning".

Can you see the sunlight working its way up the tree branches?
Yes, this was taken this morning.
Yes, some of our trees now show  a "rusty" color.
others are mostly bare of their leaves and
some have brand new leaves peeking out!
What can I say, this is the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Now be honest.....
If you opened your front door and looked directly across the street
seeing this lovely golden tree being shined on by the morning sun
wouldn't you laugh out loud?

Can you see the leaves lighting up?

Oh it is going to be such a glorious day!

What is outside your front door this morning?

Grateful for:
blushing morning sky
leaves lite up
a lovely evening with family celebrating Kevin and Heather last night.

"Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it".

From my heart to yours, may your day be blessed. Lynn

Thanks again. I have found the best thing when the world is hard is to just sit and take in the beauty of it. I can't wait to sit in my backyard, feel the breeze, the sun on my face and the sweet song of my cardinals.

Yes, I CAN see that palest of pink skies, so pearl-like and holding so much promise. The tree is glorious, as well. I am a night owl myself, and can't even think before about three P.M.

Yup, that is what I like about winter time--I love seeing the silhouettes of the bare branches especially as the sun sets or rises. We had one day here last week that was cloudy most of the day. My hubby and I took a little walk in the evening and the sky's back ground was a dark grey and the sun was setting and some rays peeked through hitting the trees wafting them in a golden glow against the grey backdrop--it was glorious!

Hi Lynn, I'm not a morning person unless we are in Mt. Nebo---when we get up to see the sunrise!!!!

We live on a hill --so can't see either the sunrise here or the sunset... We have to drive or walk either down the hill or up the hill... SO--we don't see it often...

When I look out of my front window in the computer room, I see my bird feeder --filled with sweet little birdies eating their breakfast. I'm grateful for them.

Hugs,
Betsy
