Wildflowers and country roads

Hello Friend! Wildflowers and Country Roads is both a reality and a state of mind. I warmly invite you to join me on my journey. A journey of showcasing my vision: the beauty my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has bestowed on the world I love.
My hope is that my photography will bless your day in a beautiful way.

A Year of Gratitude - Amazing Light

It is a beautiful morning here on the Gulf Coast of Florida.

If you follow my blog, you have seen my love of the refraction of light
in every day events,
such as in the bubbles in the sink.
If you missed that post, you can click HERE

Truth is, I have always loved to capture the difference LIGHT makes
especially in nature.

Since pampas grass is one of the most common of the ornamental grasses here in
Florida and Ga, where this picture was actually taken,
I do have many photos of the beauty of the light illuminating these grasses.

This was actually an entrance to a rest area off the interstate.
The light was just right!

Want to see the difference the light makes?

Just does not light up from within does it?

I am off to spend time with my son today.
Will be around to visiting all of you tomorrow.

Have a beautiful day letting your own precious light shine from within your hearts.
I am grateful for the beauty in the every day common aspects,
the love of my grown children,
the inspiration and friendship of my wonderful friends.

From my heart to yours, may your day be blessed. Lynn

What a wonderful comparison!! The last photo is kind of drab compared to the beautiful one radiating with light! I hope you have a great visit with your son!

Hi Lynn, wow another wonderful photo! I love pampas grass. I would see it occasionally in California, but never saw it's true beauty until I came to Georgia. It is so delicate yet some of the plants grow so big and lush.

My family calls them "Barkley Tails"! :) (Because they are the same golden color as his big fluffy tail) It is funny now because a few of our friends overheard us referring to them by that name and now they call it that now too. :) I hope you have a lovely and restful evening ahead! Delisa :)

Oh my goodness, I love this picture of the grass! You will have to visit me tomorrow and see the winter storm and ice we were encased in! And you will also hear my gratitude for light as well.
Blessings,
Gayle
