Happy New Year!
I am so excited because this is going to be a spectacular year.
My year of gratitude.
I must share this with each of you because my heart is just overwhelmed with gratitude.
I have been praying, seeking the direction of my blog for 2012.
Yesterday Terry and I stopped at one of our beautiful parks.
I had my camera, of course.
Took some shots, nothing was "working".
Until I saw the "ripples".
They spoke to my heart and I kept shooting.
As most of you know who follow me, I am not a professional photographer.
Through the lens of my camera I "feel" my photos.
I just keep going until I "feel" I have captured the essence of my heart.
Most of the pictures I took yesterday were discarded, nothing special moved me......
But the ripples....
This morning I was reading an article on gratitude and I KNEW the Lord
had given me my theme for 2012 on my blog.
A YEAR OF GRATITUDE.
So it begins.........
As I pulled up my blog to begin this post, I noticed I had a brand new comment and follower.
Rhonda, loves the Lord and photography.
Thank you Rhonda and each and every one of my beautiful followers
For each of you who read my blog and for comments that allow me a
glimpse into your lives to become inspired, motivated, and GRATEFUL.
As for those ripples........(big huge smile)
They are ripples of gratitude.
You see, some predict this year to end in doom......
Let's change the world with the "ripple effect" of gratitude!
My prayer this year is that my blog, my photography, posting gratitude
will be a positive foundation with a ripple effect of joy.
As the ripple effect of your own gratitude manifests itself in your life,
please share with me, with us.
Let's spread JOY around the world in 2012.
Oh my gosh.....please forgive me Charlotte!

I must confess, I am grateful even when I mess up cause my friends help me out!
Thank you!

Hi Lynn, Happy New Year... Hope you two --and your big family--have as great a year in 2012 as you had in 2011... Let's all stay out of the hospital though... ha
Most of us who blog are not professional photographers. We all just love to take pictures... Yours are GREAT.
Have a great 2012.

That's a lovely word. I too share a love of photography, but I am far from being a professional.
I enjoy your photos - they are always beautiful.
Blessings and Happy New Year!

Hi Lynn,
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. i too, have found the world of blogging a blessing. I'm not a professional photographer either, but like you, find joy in God's creation. Happy new year to you!
Love the theme for 2012 for your blog! Thank you for the sweet comments my way. I love, love the photo. I can feel the stillness and the peace. My word for my life is Loved. I am sure it will be reflected in my blog this coming year. I started a post on it early this morning but got sidetracked with my husband needing me so I never finished it. I am excited for a new year and thankful for your encouragement and friendship.
Hi Lynn, such beautiful pictures! They are so tranquil and serene. Have a lovely evening ahead! Delisa :)
Hi Lynn, I love your idea for 2012. Nothing chases the doom and gloom away faster than gratitude!
I have heard it said that the secret to happiness is a thankful heart. I believe that to be true.
As I strive to love LOUDLY this year, I'll also seek to be grateful...it wouldn't hurt to be louder in that either. There is so much to be thankful for!
Beautiful post..and wonderful thoughts. your photography is outstanding.I have a little "point and shoot' camera and go around snapping pictures all the time, just because I love it.What a blessing it is!
Thank you for sharing!
Hi Lynn,

Ripples of gratitude -- your photographs are so beautiful. I clicked to make them bigger and oh, how they spoke to me. I want my gratitude to ripple to others.
Happy New Year Lynn!!!! A very happy new year to you! Filled with gratitude for being a wonderful bloggy friend! :)
Hugs,
What beautiful thoughts. The ripples remind me of the ripple effects each of us cause in other people's lives. Gratitude should be at the top of all our lists for the new year.
Blessings,
