"The charm of a woodland road lies not only in its beauty
but in anticipation.
Around each bend may be a discovery,
an adventure."
......Dale Rex Coman
We made the wrong turn at this corner......
Look what we found!
We are going on another adventure, a much shorter one this time.
During this time, I will be taking a break from blogging.
I do hope to surprise you by popping in for visits now and again.
Be back end of October.
Enjoy all the beautiful aspects of Fall.
****Since I will not be posting to Spiritual Sunday this week, wanted to give
those of you who are praying for my friend Kathy, an update:
Praise the Lord they believe they cut out all the cancer in her breast with the
second surgery. However, she then had to have an emergency surgery for a
burst blood vessel.
Just to be sure that not one stray cell managed to stay in her body she
will be undergoing chemo/radiation and then taking a pill for 5 years.
As you can imagine after three surgeries, back to back and starting chemo/radiation,
she needs HIS hand on her emotionally, physically, mentally.
This is such a difficult time. She has her loving hubby of 40 years by her side.
She knows of all your prayers and thanks you so much.
There are so many needs on our prayer lists, sometimes I just get overwhelmed
as I pray for each person.
Yet.....
Yet, I so believe in HIM, in HIS miracles of healing in all areas.
I thank you personally for continuing to hold my friend up in prayer.
How Great Thou Art!

Wow! Autumn seems so beautiful. Wish I could see the actual magic of Autumn once.
Hi Lynn, I will miss you... Gorgeous photos... Our colors are beginning to look like those pictures....
You asked about Biltmore. The colors haven't changed much there. We were a little disappointed... Ours are much prettier here. SO--hopefully, they will be prefect for you all...
Have a great trip...
Hugs,
Betsy
Sometimes the wrong turn is the right turn! And I love that pumpkin road sign! We do not have the fall color here yet, but it is coming. I hope you have a fun trip, do you travel a lot? I will be praying for Kathy, that is hard.
Hi Lynn, I'm so sorry to hear about your dear friend, I will keep her in my prayers, she sounds like a very lovely and courageous woman. Your pictures today are so beautiful! My goodness, just look at those leaves. I hope you have a wonderful time on your trip, we will miss you while you are gone, but I will so enjoy all of your stories when you get home! Have a safe journey and we will see you soon! Delisa :)
Hello Lynn, Enjoy your blog break. I am praying for your friend. My niece had the exact experience with her breast cancer surgery. She too will be on the same five year program. the good thing is Breast Cancer is more treatable than ever before. Love the photos you shared.
Take care. xoxo, Jeanne
