This was last year.
Hopefully we will see more foliage this year.
My son has outpatient surgery tomorrow morning,
once I talk with my DIL after she talks to his Dr. we will be on our way.
It's a mom thing, even though my "baby" is 30.
He has been in the Middle East, lived in Japan for 18 months
has a loving wife, tons of friend here but.....
It's just a mom thing that I have to wait until I know he is just fine.
I know you, my dear friend, understand.

So you are going to be with him? How far away does he live? Of course I understand, I have a son!
Once a mom, always a mom. It doesn't matter how old our kids get, that mommy heart doesn't just automatically turn off. Praying for a successful surgery and a quick healing.
Have a wonderful trip. I'll miss you, but I'm so glad you are going to be able to take this fabulous vacation.

I do not have Photoshop, but there are several free editing places I use from time to time.
The pic on yesterday's blog was edited in Picasa..it does well for basic editing..and it is free!Some camera's have that feature also.
