Wildflowers and country roads

Hello Friend! Wildflowers and Country Roads is both a reality and a state of mind. I warmly invite you to join me on my journey. A journey of showcasing my vision: the beauty my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has bestowed on the world I love.
My hope is that my photography will bless your day in a beautiful way.

Family celebration last weekend

I just did my Fall decorating, lol.

Seriously, a cherished friend gave me the adorable scaregrow many years
ago when we worked together.

I am retired now.
She is a busy wife/mom of 2 children, working full time.
The bond we shared is still there, still strong.

My wall color is beautiful Victorian Mauve, a greyed lavender.
Does not come out as beautiful as it truly is.
Fall decor does not match my decor at all.....
but had to put my  little "friend" of years on display.

Last Saturday all my family were together to celebrate my birthday.

Top is all the grands: Kaylee, Kevin, Dylan, George, Jacob

My children: Bobby, Heather, me, Kellie

Kaylee and George are my  younger daughter, Kellie's children

Kevin, Dylan, Jacob are my daughter Heather's children.

My son and his wife are about to close on their first home together.
Maybe more grands will follow......

Picture on bottom right, my DIL with her sister.

The male spouses were all on the porch watching games on tv.

My DIL's mom was at the party, but somehow escaped photos.

My daughters gave me purple roses in a lovely vase.
(roses are more purple than they appear)
and a very special Precious Moment
titled: "You capture my heart".
My daughter said it was "so Terry and Mom".
We agree!
Can you see the camera in the boys hand?
He is taking their picture.
We do that all the time and of course I always have my camera.
Since I love roses, just had to play around with them for a photo shoot.

Well, that was my weekend.
How was yours?

Also many of you know how I LOVE the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team.
We are now down by 2 games......boo hoo.
We must win today or our chances are over, then again tomorrow to keep going.

GO RAYS.  I SO BELIEVE!

Let me know how your weekend was, especially those of you that had COLD weather!

From my heart to yours, may your day be blessed. Lynn

Hi Lynn! It sounds like you had such a wonderful day, how nice for all the family to get together! Beautiful pictures! What lovely roses, I love roses too, they are my favorite flowers. I miss my rose garden I had in California. Sigh.. they don't do well here in my part of Georgia, the land of every flower eating bug known to mankind! :) My favorite roses are the large yellow and pink cabbage roses that are as big as a dessert plate. Just one of those would fill the whole house up with fragrance! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead and a restful evening! With Love, Delisa :)

What a beautiful family!! And how nice that y'all live close enough to be able to celebrate birthdays together.

I wish you a happy belated birthday. May it be the beginning of a truly blessed year...one that is filled to overflowing with love, joy, and laughter.

By the way, I'm sorry about your Rays. As a Red Sox fan who has had her own disappointment, I know how you feel when the season ends. It's a long time until spring!!

Wishing you blessings and safety on your trip. I'll miss you.

Love,
Patti
