What a beautiful family photo Lynn! What a treasure. For me as a child, summer began the first day I slipped on my shorts and a pair of sandals! It was ice tea and getting to watch General Hospital with my mother in the afternoons. It was Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy novels one after one under the shade of our front porch. It was BLT sandwiches for dinner because it was too hot to turn on the oven. Sigh, they were wonderful days and wonderful memories. Have a lovely afternoon! Delisa :)

It is the first day of Fall here, are you still living in Florida? I love this wonderful family picture, it looks like a Norman Rockwell painting. So idyllic. Too bad so many kids today don't know about such a happy family life.

What a lovely photo! I'm totally in to old family photos these days, so your post sure struck a chord with me.

Hugs,
