Wildflowers and country roads

Hello Friend! Wildflowers and Country Roads is both a reality and a state of mind. I warmly invite you to join me on my journey. A journey of showcasing my vision: the beauty my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has bestowed on the world I love.
My hope is that my photography will bless your day in a beautiful way.

Spring splendor

Good morning everyone!
I have missed the Tuesday and Saturday parties and all of YOU!

"I thank God for the remembrance of you", Phil 1:3

March/April 2008 issue of Victoria celebrated the
Splendor of Spring

Today I am showing the lovely tea cup
from Home Goods, made by
V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London)

Along with the lovely tea pot.

I choose this pattern to remind me of the beautiful
Spring flowers I photographed on our trip.

Taken near Cafe DuMonde and Jackson Square
New Orleans, 2011

Fullness of Spring!

For those of you not in the South, the "promise" of Spring.

The "promise" of Spring.....

Fullness of Spring
Beautiful Bradford Pear blossom.

As Robert Frost states on page 49 of March/April issue of Victoria:
"Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springtime of the year".

Whether you enjoy the flowers on your china, in a vase with your tea or outside your windows
may they bring you smiles of pleasure.

"Smiles are the soul's kisses".     Minna Thomas Antrim

Remember when I have 100 followers I am having my first give-away!
All three items were purchased on our trip
because
I kept all of your in my heart and my prayers
even when I was not visiting you!

I am joining (late because we only arrived home Sunday night):

I will get to visit each of you, but due to grandchildren's ball games
this week may not get to all of you before Thursday.
I so appreciate your patience.
Oh I cannot wait!  I have missed your lovely blogs!

From my heart to yours, may your day be blessed. Lynn

This is exquisite! Love those flowers - We were out yesterday and I wish that I had my camera - Spring's Splendor is upon us in the South - and the promise is coming to those still under Winter's grasp! Thank you for joining A Return to Loveliness - this is truly special,
Kathy

Hi Lynn and welcome back. We were only gone a week and got home the same time you did.
Love the teapot and cup as well as the spring magnolia blossoms.
We're still under snow here but in a few weeks..... :-)

Dearest Lynn,
Welcome home and thank you for stopping by our little tea party this week...The Grandparents featured are Hubby's mother and father...It is always a delight to have them visit us.

I so enjoyed seeing your photos of the pear blooms, mine flowered last week or so ago, but alas all the petals are now gone with the afternoon gusts of wind.

Blessings Kelsie
