Wildflowers and country roads

Hello Friend! Wildflowers and Country Roads is both a reality and a state of mind. I warmly invite you to join me on my journey. A journey of showcasing my vision: the beauty my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has bestowed on the world I love.
My hope is that my photography will bless your day in a beautiful way.

Happy Spring and priorities

Happy Spring!

I have been busy being simply "Mimi" and "Grammie"
 cheering on my granddaughter
and grandson at their balls games and taking pictures of
my other three younger grandsons at the games,
one who will start his own ball games this Friday.

I was rushing around this morning trying to pull a post together and be able
to link up before we left for the game.....
Trying to continue to visit guests from Pink Saturday........
I found a postcard from Japan my son had sent a few years ago
when he was working in Southern Japan.
It changed everything!

In light of the loss of life, the devastation in Japan.....
I am so blessed to have:
grandchildren to watch play ball,
daughters to spend time with,
sharing pizza and spending the night with my daughter and her family,
a loving hubby
precious followers and blog friends who will understand
That I made a commitment to visit guests on Pink Saturday....
when I went as a guest...
I started visiting late, there were so many wonderful guests..
I am not even half way through my visits......

So I am backing out of the parties just for the rest of this week,
because in good conscience I simply cannot catch up with
all the visits, go to ball games, finish my studio, do all the normal
every day activities
to my "to do"list.

Dear precious followers please come back next Tuesday and you will see
the lovely gifts I have for a lucky winner,
the simple rules for drawing
and a "refreshed vintage" lady who truly thought she could
keep up with all of you while doing 10 other things at the same time!

Spring Blessings to you all.

From my heart to yours, may your day be blessed. Lynn

Being wife, mom and grammie come first any day! I know, I have had a hard time lately too with so much going on at our house. You just can do what you can do and sometimes I have more time to visit and party than others. We all understand. Have fun loving those wonderful children.

Loved the spring flowers by the way. I just planted some primroses and pansies this weekend and they make me smile.

Lynn,
Blogging is about your life, not your life is about blogging!

I love blogging and I understand how you do feel obligated to visit everyone in each party that you participate in. I have been feeling the same way until I realized how much time I was spending at the computer.
So just this weekend, I decided how I was going to blog. There are certain parties that I love to link up to. I am going to continue doing the same thing. I do follow certain blogs because they speak to me and those are the ones that I am always going to comment on. If I see something that appeals to me when visiting a party, I will take a look and comment. I will return comments to people that comment on my blog. But with working full time, that is going to be about all I can do without spending all of my time on the computer.
I think most bloggers feel the same way and understand that not everyone has the same amount of spare time all the time to visit.
So take a deep breath and do what feels best for you!!

Live your life and than tells us about it on your blog when you can!!

Many Hugs,
Debbie

What beautiful flowers. Such lovely spring colors. When spring gets here I know Easter is on its way. One of my fave holidays. I just love Easter. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Lynn
Do put your family first and your friends will be here when you return. As the gardening season gets busy, many of us will not be blogging as much, I'm sure.
