Happy Pink Saturday everyone!
Today I am so doing the happy dance.....
First, want to share these
beautiful pink flowers here in Florida as we are having the most gorgeous
"pre" spring weather.
Beautiful bougainvilla.
A lighter pink with
"Thai Delight" bougainvilla
Want a closer look?
Such delightful blossoms.
Last, but never least, Shooting Star
TA DA DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!!
On January 31, Deborah at:
Drew my name as one of the winners in her give-away!
This was the sweet note on top of the still wrapped cards.
I was so excited, almost did not take this picture...
just wanted to open the gift!
This was my gift, beautiful note cards that I instantly fell in love with.
Closer view of these two.......
Closer view of these two.....
The final three....
The cute picture on top of this trio can be seen better
in the first picture of all the cards above.
These cards are from Deborah's company which she started in honor of her
best friend and sister-in-law, Penny Ellen, who was fighting
stage 4 squamous cell carinoma of the tongue and tonsil.
"Penny had a partial glossectomy (half her tongue removed)
last Feb. and has been doing great ever since".
The above was a quote from Deborah on Penny and I simply add:
Praise the Lord!
Please use the link above to visit Deborah's blog. She is a very special lady.
There is also information on her company.
She donates $1 from each card purchase to SPOHNC
Support for people with oral and head and neck cancer.
Thank you again Deborah for the beautiful note cards and wonderful news on Penny.
TA DA....AGAIN.....I WON ANOTHER GIVE-AWAY JUST BEFORE VAC!
from Jeanne of http://backyardneighbor.typepad.com/
Who I belive most of us know and love......
If not, please check out her wonderful blog. Jeanne is another wonderful lady.
(Blogland is just full of special people)
This was the box with Jeanne's sweet note on top.
The breakable smaller dishes were packed in this lovely heart box.
Loving hubby who was watching me open the box let out a whoop
when this box of candy came into view.
Yes, I shared with loving hubby, lol
I thought this was wrapping paper around a box, was going to open carefully
so I could save the lovely paper, but....
surprise these were lovely note cards.
Don't you love the lace edging on them?
This is the cutest tea pot I have ever seen!
Perfect for Florida, I must say.
Complete with Earl Grey.
These made me sniffle, as mom did cross stitch.
I truly cherish these.
Yes, there were two lovely hand towels in the box.
I love the edging too.
A delightful dresser jar which silly me forgot to take the top off to show you all.
By this time I was blown away by everything in the box.....
Wouldn't you be too?
The above dresser jar and these Japanese dishes were what was in the
heart shaped box.
My prayers went out to the people of Japan as I placed there on the
table. I believe the earthquake had just happened before I opened the box.
This is everything!
Lucky me!
Thank you Jeanne and Deborah for picking my name.
If you have not already done so, please stop by both of these ladies blogs.
You will not be sorry!
