For Pink Saturday, A Celebration Of Friendship

Today hubby and I took a delightful trip to Brandon, FL
and my favoritre shop,
Somewhere In Time
Antiques and More

I saw this lovely rose tea set and dessert plates.
The rim is  pale yellow with pink roses.
I had put aside vintage linens,
but.....
sadly, I knew I had to decide
between the linens and this tea set.

Here it is on my buffet table at home.
The sugar and creamer are very small
but just so lovely.
and.....
there were 9 beautiful dessert plates included.
The set is made in Japan by Gold Castle.
Yikes, all pictures were taken with the tape still on the teapot cover!
Oh, I do hope you will forgive me.
There I was joyfully unwrapping everything and placing on my buffet table.
Somehow never realized the top was still taped.

On my sidebar you will notice I am quite eclectric.
Always have been hopeless romantic,
Always loved to create beauty in my home
Always like a touch of whimsy.
And.....
I still giggle.
So, when these two lovers wanted to be part of this post,
I allowed it because, after all she does have a pink shirt on
which is just right for Pink Saturday.

Oh, time is getting away from me.
I have set up a special celebration for all of you.
With my beautiful new dessert set.
Would you like a closer look at the brownie bites and mini eclair which is
for our celebration today?

Can you see the small chocolate heart on top?
My celebration is a thank you from my heart to all of you.

Did you notice the vintage cards on my table?
Yes, they too were one of my purchases today.
I knew how perfect this one was to celebrate.......
Friends like you.
Friends who have inspired me with their beautiful blogs.
With shared interests and thought provoking postings.
Friends who left lovely comments or emails.
Friends who have become followers.

Today, let's just celebrate the joy of cherished old friends,
and delightful new friends.
Please help yourself to a treat, I have many more, so enjoy.
You all deserve a celebration.

By the way, I know you would love to see more of my favorite store,
Somewhere In Time.
So please join me Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
as I share three days of awesome photos I took today.
You won't want to miss these posts.

Happy Pink Saturday.

You found some very pretty dishes and sweet cards. I'm happy for you that you decided on the dishes over the linens, though I love both myself. ;-) Have a wonderful weekend. Pamela

Happy Pink Saturday Lynn Sweetie...
What a beautiful share. I absolutely adore this tea set that you found. It is so detailed and elegant looking sitting on your buffet. (I am like you though, I get so excited I can't wait to take pictures and sometimes over look the tape. If you hadn't mentioned it, we probably wouldn't have even noticed sweetie, the elegance is what you see.)

I also love those beautiful candlestick holders with the hanging crystals sitting on your buffet. They are SO beautiful.

Oh I loved my desert. Thank you so much for sharing today. I enjoyed myself so much.

I am Country Wings in Phoenix, your newest follower. I can't wait to see what you share next. Please pop over and say hello. I would love to have you visit and be tickled PINK to have you follow me as well.

Have a glorious weekend sweetie. Many country hugs, Sherry

Hi Lynn,

It's wonderful to meet you and your beautiful blog. I am a new follower too.

I'm so happy you don't need to worry about the cold and snow like we New Englanders. Last night all I could do was dream about taking a trip down to Florida right now, but every other day the airports are closed for another storm, so I think it's best that I stay put and keep snuggling under my blankets in my fleece pjs.

Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the nice comments on my blog and for following. I love the name "Wildflowers and Country roads".
Just sounds good to my heart. You asked about the Soy candles.they are easy to make, tho a bit pricey. But all candles are pricey! And family is beyond price. Go to
www.Candlescience.com. They have tutorials about everything you need to get started. You will love it...I do.
Thanks again and have a great weekend.
