I have such exciting news! I retired Aug 27 and Sept 12 my hubby and I left on a 8 week long "road trip". I am a "country girl" at heart with a "gypsy spirit" of loving "traveling on road trips".
On this road trip, the Lord has given me a new creative desire which with my wonderful hubby's blessing, I am going to pursue. Like most of us, responsibilities have kept me from truly being the "creative soul" that has been there all along. Now is the time!
This is going to evolve over time, of course. We do know that both of long for the "wildflowers and country roads" we saw on our trip and are working toward finding the perfect new home for us. North Carolina appears to be our first choice, but Indiana and Iowa are second and third. North Carlina is closer to family in Florida and we have always loved that state.
Edie is going to be designing a new blog for me and hopefully by the first of year, my new blog will be up and running. I so hope you will join me in this exciting, crazy, serendipitious adventure of becoming the person I always wanted to be. It will be a "lighthearted" adventure but also a positive experience that allows me to show my Faith in Jesus, that one is never too old to add beauty to His world, to express the joy He has put inside me as a child of the King.
Please join me soon.
