Saturday my 6 year old granddaughter played in her first softball tournament.
These little girls played their hearts out in 90 degree heat!
They played 3 games in one day.
Finished in second place.
Congratulations Kaylee and your team and coaches
(one coach is her dad, George)
Kaylee is second from the right with pink visor, her dad is standing behind her.
Love the shades Kaylee!
(think she has a little of her grandmother's drama, lol)
Here comes Kaylee!
Coach/dad and Kaylee up to bat.
Mom (my daughter Kellie) congratulating Kaylee
Each little girl on the team received a really nice medal.
Also before the medals each was given a beautiful long stemmed white rose.
Cousins, Dylan (in my daughter, Heather's arms), Kevin (red cap) and Jacob wait to see Kaylee's medal.
Kevin and Jacob have their awards ceremony on Wednesday night!
Kevin plays T-ball and Jacob plays baseball.
Grampa Terry is just out of the picture behind Dylan.
Grampa Terry bought Kaylee a shirt. I have a better picture of the shirt but love this one of
Kaylee and Grampa Terry.
Not to be missed, is Kaylee's younger brother, Georgie.
As you can see, Kaylee is my only granddaughter with all the boys.
Grammie loves each one!
( bet you didn't know that, right, lol)
Better shot of Kaylee's new shirt.
Then it was time to say goodbye.
Georgie is between Jacob and Kevin, just see his head.
We were all hot, tired. It had been a long day but a wonderful day.
Wonderful experience for Kaylee and her team, all the teams.
We are so lucky to live in Florida where sports are almost year round.
So many great parents step up and volunteer their time for the kids.
Next are the boys awards and then Jacob has a tournament and possibly the All Stars.

Sun is getting low in the sky as we cross the bridge between Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties
Looking West toward the sunset as we pull in our driveway.
Hope you enjoyed your day with with all of us supporting Kaylee and her team.
Blessings,
Lynn
