Hello Friend! Wildflowers and Country Roads is both a reality and a state of mind. I warmly invite you to join me on my journey. A journey of showcasing my vision: the beauty my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has bestowed on the world I love.

Two Of My Grandsons Play Ball

Last Wednesday evening my oldest grandson, Jacob's team, the RAYS took second place trophies.
My grandson is top row, second from left.
Congratulations to the entire RAYS team!

Let's see that trophy and Jacob's smile a bit closer, shall we?
Beautiful!

It was his younger brother Kevin's first trophy for T-ball this year.
Way to go Kevin!

My daughter, Heather, Mike (coach/team mom for Kevin's team)
Jacob and Kevin

While I was on the field taking pictures, Grampa was on the other side of the fence
taking his. Far too many people on the field for him to make his way through that night.

Dylan was there too, of course.

Next up a tribute to my son, on his 29th birthday,
Then Jacob's team the RAYS have won the first two of their tournament games Friday and today.
Will show those pictures also.

Have a blessed weekend!

Kaylee's First Softball Tournament

Saturday my 6 year old granddaughter played in her first softball tournament.
These little girls played their hearts out in 90 degree heat!
They played 3 games in one day.
Finished  in second place.
Congratulations Kaylee and your team and coaches
(one coach is her dad, George)
Kaylee is second from the right with pink visor, her dad is standing behind her.

Love the shades Kaylee!
(think she has a little of her grandmother's drama, lol)

Here comes Kaylee!

Coach/dad and Kaylee up to bat.

Mom (my daughter Kellie) congratulating Kaylee

Each little girl on the team received a really nice medal.
Also before the medals each was given a beautiful long stemmed white rose.

Cousins, Dylan (in my daughter, Heather's arms), Kevin (red cap) and Jacob wait to see Kaylee's medal.
Kevin and Jacob have their awards ceremony on Wednesday night!
Kevin plays T-ball and Jacob plays baseball.
Grampa Terry is just out of the picture behind Dylan.

Grampa Terry bought Kaylee a shirt. I have a better picture of the shirt but love this one of
Kaylee and Grampa Terry.

Not to be missed, is Kaylee's younger brother, Georgie.
As you can see, Kaylee is my only granddaughter with all the boys.
Grammie loves each one!
( bet you didn't know that, right, lol)

Better shot of Kaylee's new shirt.

Then it was time to say goodbye.
Georgie is between Jacob and Kevin, just see his head.
We were all hot, tired. It had been a long day but a wonderful day.
Wonderful experience for Kaylee and her team, all the teams.
We are so lucky to live in Florida where sports are almost year round.
So many great parents step up and volunteer their time for the kids.

Next are  the boys awards and then Jacob has a tournament and possibly the All Stars.

Sun is getting low in the sky as we cross the bridge between Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties

Hope you enjoyed your day with with all of us supporting Kaylee and her team.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

My son Bobby and his beautiful wife Erin on their first anniversary dinner last night.

Erin, my beautiful daughter Kellie, her husband George and Bobby last night.
Kellie and George have my only granddaughter, Kaylee Lynn, and George Patrick Deitrick III, aka Georgie.

My beautiful daughter Heather with her husband Mike
They have three boys.
 Jacob, Kevin, Dylan

The BEST gift for Mother's Day is seeing all three of my children truly happy.
Not happy because life is "easy" all the time, but "happy" because before their marriages each of them found challenges, heartbreak and yet determination to overcome everything life threw at them.
Now in their marriages they can apply what life taught together with their spouses  continuing to grow and learn and be positive role models for their own children.
.  Heather, Kellie, Bobby, I am so proud to be your mother.
I love you!

My wish for each of you is a very blessed, beautiful Mother's Day!
God Bless

HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY BOBBY & ERIN

A year ago my son was married on beautiful Clearwater Beach,
love this picture.

It was a intimate sunset wedding with family.

Bobby and Erin, Terry and I wish you a lifetime of happiness, health and love.

Love you both,
Mamabear and Terry

Actually we are on our way to dinner to celebrate their anniversary in just a few minutes and I just realized I forgot to post this today!  Had lots more pictures but this is all I could do quickly and did not want to miss their day!

Have a Happy Mother's Day everyone.

Lynn

******I apologize for the quality of the pic! I did not have time to locate the disc with all my pictures of the wedding/reception and thought I could get away using these, but Oh gosh, they are all blurred!
Today is their day, so I am leaving them on for tonight and tomorrow will post beautifully clear shots!****
Just wanted to honor them today, on their special first anniversary.
